GSE French Team Leader Speech — “France has about 8,000 square miles. 71 clubs and about 2,000 Rotarians. Unfortunately not too many women, which I regret. (Laughter). Jonathan’s speech — “There is no end to what the helping hand of Rotary can accomplish. Ladies and gentlemen, I come from Africa and I have to give you a little story to end the speech about what some African people have done in the past. In those days, the way to end your speech, to know when to stop making your speech, is that when you get to the restroom you stand on one leg. And when the second leg touches the ground, that is when to end the speech. My two feet are on the ground now. So I am ending the speech. Thank you for waiting.”
